Anvo-Systems Dresden presents fast 1 Mb Quad SPI nvSRAM in a compact 24 Ball PGA package

Anvo-Systems Dresden, the specialist for non-volatile memory products, presents the ANV32AA3P non-volatile SRAM (nvSRAM) with a storage capacity of 1 Mb. With 108 MHz clock rate, the Quad SPI nvSRAM combines a fast parallel non-volatile memory device with a simple serial interface. There is support for single, dual and quad SPI interface options with SPI Modes 0 and 3. The ANV32AA3P is available in a compact 24 Ball PGA package.

The 1 Mb Quad nvSRAM is internally organized as 128 k words of 8 bits. Each SRAM memory cell includes a silicon-oxide-nitride-oxide-silicon (SONOS) flash storage element. In the event of an unforeseeable operating voltage drop below a defined value, the robust, cost-optimized SONOS technology enables non-volatile storage of all data via a signal pin or software. The Quad SRAM device provides features such as fast access times and unlimited read & write endurance which are comparable to standard SRAM. Special safety features, such as Block Write Protection, Write Disable Instruction, reading of the last written address as well as the checksum protected memory accesses (Secure READ and Secure WRITE) ensure a high degree of data accuracy.

Integrated Power Down functionalities with non-volatile data storage (hibernate mode) with a standby current of less than 3 µA and volatile Deep Power Down with a standby current of less than 10 µA ensures low power consumption of the device. An integrated Time Monitoring features for a high reliability of the nvSRAM. The short response after power down makes the 1 Mb Quad nvSRAM to a preferred solution for boot operations.

The ANV32AA3P Quad SPI nvSRAM can be operated with 2.7 V to 3.6 V and offers a 1.8 V interface. The device is specified for commercial and industrial (-40 °C to +85 °C) temperature ranges.

The non-volatile memory device is suitable for applications, like industrial automation, robotics, servers, measurement technology, medical devices, building automation and smart metering systems.
