5th Alliance for Rural Electrification Market Workshop

"Joint research activities between the academia and the industry: bringing new opportunities to the renewables sector"

(PresseBox) (Brussels, Belgium, ) The use of renewable energy in developing countries is far from its potential. Especially remote locations require diverse and tailored solutions - traditional approaches often don't fit local conditions.

There are numerous research institutions working on the development of innovative renewable energy technologies, business models and approaches that already today support sustainable renewables generation and are practically applicable in diverse locations.

Yet, the gap between these solutions, their potential and the actual implementation remains large. A closer cooperation between researchers and businesses involved in project execution is vital in improving the situation.

Therefore, the Alliance for Rural Electrification invites you to a workshop gathering experts from some of the leading European research centres and universities in the field of renewables. The workshop will give you the opportunity to learn about the experience of these institutions and their projects, but most of all - to see how their work could help your business growing, and ultimately benefit local communities.
