Nextys is particularly renowned for its compact, highly efficient (η > 92%) DIN rail power supplies with 1,2 or 3 phases and DC input.
Combining these DC power supplies with the innovative CPU-based Digital Control Unit DCU20 gives rise to highly efficient DC UPS systems. They are suitable for systems with 12V and 24V batteries (using) at different kinds of chemistry. The charging process is CPU-monitored and precise. The DCU 20 monitors the voltage of the power supply and brings the battery into action as soon as the supply voltage fails. The load current and the battery current are also monitored. The battery is always charged, thanks to an integrated battery charger. The DCU 20, which is designed for maximum 20A, has external temperature monitoring of the battery, programmable back-up time, remote switch-off, status monitoring of the battery, reverse polarity protection, active overcurrent protection in battery operation as well as an impressive price/performance ratio.
The dimensions are just 55x115x110mm (BxHxT). There is software available, which allows monitoring and setting of the UPS directly at the device, or via a USB port from the PC.
