Parallel monitoring of fieldbus and field devices

(PresseBox) (Schwerin, 28.02.2012) The Trebing + Himstedt TH LINK is the tool to considerably reduce time and effort required for device and network management, as fieldbus and field devices can now be monitored in parallel in one single solution. As a network access point from Ethernet to PROFIBUS, the TH LINK functions as the link that enables central access via FDT applications while providing diagnostic information on both network and stations at the same time. Due to the combination of permanent network monitoring including alert functionality and central Asset Management via Ethernet, any network or device failures can be identified immediately. Initial diagnostics without leaving your desk plus well-targeted troubleshooting ensure high availability in line with predictive maintenance. The innovative concept additionally saves extra investments for separate network and device solutions.
