At Audi, however, employees are empowered to bring their ideas to light and directly influence the business – from the smallest inspirational idea to the greatest innovation.
THE SOLUTION
Employees now use the target Idea Management add-on for SAP ERP. This software from SAP partner company target software solution runs in the intranet on a Web browser. Users can easily grasp the simple navigation: in a self-guided interface, they submit new ideas with the current situation and their recommendation for improvement. The system transfers the data automatically to the manager responsible who then decides how the idea will be processed further. Using integrated workflows, reviewers and idea coordinators are brought into the process so that the best ideas can be implemented and realized quickly. Premium awards for the ideas act as incentives, and are automatically included in the employee's pay statements. The software is directly integrated with SAP ERP, so no system interfaces are needed. The concept allows employees to be actively involved in the operation of the company and motivates them to question the status quo – all in line with the philosophy of the luxury automobile brand.
