SVOX and Teleca to facilitate wider adoption of speech in consumer electronics
SVOX announces a cooperation agreement with Teleca to enable speech user interfaces on a wide range of consumer electronic devices
Teleca’s Head of Solutions, Andrew Till said, “We have chosen to partner with SVOX because of their industry-leading quality and innovative products. Speech is an increasingly important component of multimodal user interfaces and the SVOX partnership will enable Teleca to offer its automotive and mobile customers complete solutions with pre-integrated speech. Teleca will complement its own solutions for echo cancelling and noise reduction with SVOX speech technologies to provide solutions for such consumer electronics as personal navigation devices and automotive hands free systems.”
Mr. Reber noted that “SVOX strives to make integration of speech solutions as easy as possible. By partnering with Teleca, a leading player in several SVOX markets, we will make it even more straightforward for OEMs and service providers to add speech to their automotive and mobile products.”
