Lifetime of 100,000 hours sets new standard
Developed and manufactured by Nordeon at the site in Springe, Germany, the THOR guarantees a lifetime of 100,000 hours (L80B10). This is essentially contributing to a revolutionary thermal management, a robust aluminum housing and the high-quality, high power LED technology used.
Johannes Haskamp, head of product management at Nordeon, is proud of the achieved doubling of lifetime and a payback time of only 2 years: "With the THOR we have set a milestone in the field of indoor lighting. Of course the Thor also offers the typical Nordeon payback time of only 2 years."
Designed for harsh environments
Lighting in industrial buildings, warehouses and distribution centers face particular challenges. Water, dirt, vibrations, high ambient temperatures up to 50° C or mechanical effects such as impacts are not uncommon. The THOR LED high bay luminaire meets these requirements and is in terms of light output and quality of light not compromising.
Maximum efficiency at 28.000 lm - 2 years payback time
Through the use of THOR, with 115 lm/W customers benefit from significant energy savings. Depending on burning hours and electricity prices over 300 € energy cost savings per year and luminaire can be reached. Through the use of integrable motion sensors and daylight-dependent controls, a further reduce of the energy consumption can be achieved.
The very high luminous flux of up to 28,000 lm in combination with three application-optimized light distributions ensures that the number of necessary luminaires can often be reduced.
