Within the Asia-Pacific growth region, the Indonesian market is also developing in a very satisfactory way for KBA-MetroPrint. Thus the Sansico Group, a market leader for packaging and paper products based in Jakarta, has successfully been using two waterless Genius 52 UV printing machines from KBA-MetroPrint in production for some time at PT Printec, one of its two production plants in Cikarang.
The machines are used mainly to make plastic packaging for a prestigious international toy manufacturer and they underline the quality conscious, environmentally and costeffective investment policy of the Sansico group.

Of the current five production facilities, four are in Greater Jakarta and one in Foshan in China (Guangdong). The locations employ a variety of printing processes including offset, flexo and gravure, and - step by step - are approaching a completely digitised workflow. Each plant focuses on specific market areas, thus achieving high customer proximity and service quality. Its most important customers include leading industrial companies and retail chains such as Target, American Greetings, Nestle, Coca Cola, Costco and Wal-Mart. Most turnover is gained from exporting to the main markets of the USA and Europe.
