Conference participants are informed about the following core topics:
• Intelligent energy management: energy controlling interfaces and data acquisition systems
• National and international regulations concerning energy management
• Energy consumption across the board: from automotive to research to energy agencies
• Manufacturing processes: increase efficiency of energy and resources
An interactive Workshop Day is offered on Day 3. Attendees can mingle and discuss during four workshops the following topics:
• Regulations: meaning and application
• Minimize energy consumption on the production line
• Use Case „Body shop“: energy data acquisition in industrial production
• Minimize material costs and preserve raw materials
Regarding the alternative energy discussion and the continuing decrease of atomic energy the car manufacturers need to think about new strategies to be more efficient and reduce their energy consumption during production. Therefore, new energy management systems must be adopted and a systematical analysis of energy saving potentials within production itself must be implemented. What is more, infrastructure and design of the manufacturing plant must be reconsidered to assure carbon reduction and energy supply for the future. Meet international experts leading within their field, such as representatives of Ford Research, MAN, Siemens, Volkswagen, Dürr Systems and the University of Twente.
