(NASDAQ: IPAS) today announced the expansion of its North American Wi-Fi footprint with the addition of the One Zone(TM) Wi-Fi network in Toronto, part of a partnership with Cogeco Data Services. Effective immediately, iPass Mobile Office customers traveling to Toronto can avoid 3G roaming charges by using the One Zone Wi-Fi network as part of their existing iPass Enterprise Flat Rate price plan. Hundreds of Global 2000 companies use iPass and in 2008, over 2 million unique users took advantage of iPass mobility services.
Under the partnership agreement with Cogeco Data Services, iPass has integrated One Zone-considered one of the largest, urban Wi-Fi networks in North America- into the iPass Global Broadband Roaming Network. The One Zone Wi-Fi network provides iPass customers with seamless, cost effective Internet access in the heart of Toronto's downtown business and entertainment district.
