IMO, the German slewing ring manufacturer, headquarted in the north of Bavaria, has launched www.imo-steering.com. This new site provides relevant information for experts appreciating reliable and high quality components for steering gears. The compact and space-saving IMO Slew Drives can hold highest output torques and extreme moment loads while allowing for rotations of 360 degrees.

2014 the IMO Slew Drives were part of a spectacular transport: They facilitated the transport of the 16 new lock gates for the Panama Canal. Each of these gates is 30 m high, 60 m long and has a weight of around 4000 t.
