As part of the high-quality conference programme, Robert Schleebaum, CTO and E-Commerce Manager at Deerberg Versand GmbH, and Bernd Burkert, Product Manager for CMS onion.net at getit GmbH, will be giving an exciting peek behind the scenes of the Deerberg Online Shop. In their session “Content & Commerce - How to get it right?” (18 June 2014, 14:00 in the eCommerce Theatre) they will be reporting on their experiences of constructing and developing the innovative e-commerce platform of this successful fashion mail order company.
The integration of e-shop and CMS is attracting increasing interest among online managers. As early as 2010, Deerberg had opted for real-time integration of hybris e-commerce software with CMS onion.net, which had recently received awards from the German Initiative Mittelstand (SME Initiative) in the "Content Management" and "E-Commerce" categories as a particularly innovative product. This groundbreaking platform has been expanded step by step and now, in addition to hybris and onion.net, it also includes the Prudsys Recommendation Engine, FACT-Finder, Adobe Reports & Analytics (also known as Omniture), Adobe Scene 7 and MOS Tangram.
Participants can expect an enthralling progress report with lots of useful and practical advice. The two speakers will be happy to discuss specific issues in further detail after the session.
