In "Journey Home", the player is stranded in a fascinating world of islands to be conquered. While accompanying Sarah and her family on the search for a way back home, the player leads his people in expanding his community's economy in a journey full of adventures and quests. In addition to the single player mode, objects, etc. can also be exchanged among the players.
"We also like playing strategy games a lot. Two years ago, we realized that there hadn't been anything new for a long time. This is how the idea behind Journey Home came about", says Felix Kollmann, a developer of "Journey Home". The enhancements in the pre-development phase include new ideas and technologies. The result is a complex building and production system in a fantastic world. "Now we need the help of the gaming community in order to make Journey Home a reality." A total of 150,000 € will be needed.
"Journey Home" is now among the top 50 recently developed computer games on Steam Greenlight. On a weekly video log, the developers get to answer questions from the gaming community as well as exclusively report on the project's progress. "Journey Home" should be available as a Beta version for Windows, OS X, and Linux by the end of 2016, and the final release should be expected in 2017.
