Brückner Maschinenbau at Feiplastic 2015

Technologies for the efficient manufacture of value-added oriented films

(PresseBox) (Siegsdorf, )
At Feiplastic 2015 in Sao Paulo (Booth F199) German Brückner Maschinenbau will present latest technologies that help Latin America's film producers to manufacture a variety of innovative functional plastic films.

Trend-setting packaging films

- Line concepts for multilayer film applications with dedicated functional layers for cost-optimized film production as well as sustainable packaging solutions. In its own technology center, Brückner has developed several promising new multi-layer film types and has implemented this expertise in its film stretching line technology, such as for high-barrier BOPP films in 5, 7 or 9 layers.

- To meet the fast-growing demand for a wide variety of thin-gauge BOPET packaging films, Brückner will be presenting its latest technologies which provide film producers with a huge potential.

- Shrink films for trendy labels, full body sleeves or tamper-evident packaging offer an enormous potential and two-digit growth rates. Brückner is presenting in-line and off-line technologies for the processing of PVC, PET-G, SBC/PS or environment-friendly PLA.

Added value technical films for various industries

At Feiplastic Brückner will also be focusing on sophisticated special lines for the production of technical films for photovoltaic applications, screens of all kind made of BOPET optical film grades, high quality capacitor films made of oriented PP, PET or PVDF, printed electronics, membranes, high temperature films, thermal transfer printing ribbons (TTR films) and battery separator film.

Reduced energy consumption and raw material usage

In all lines, Brückner Maschinenbau continues to optimize the possibilities for energy savings and thus to reduce also CO2 emissions. The measures presented at Feiplastic include low energy twin screw and single screw extrusion systems, a TDO heat recovery system, regenerating energy for line drive systems and an energy monitor for measuring and analysing the energy consumption of the film production process.

Additionally Brückner comes up with more solutions for a sustainable film production, such as complete new lines as well as modifying existing lines for bio-plastics processing, down gauging of films to reduce raw materials used or the development of ultra-high barrier to reduce subsequent process steps.

New developments in the R&D department

Brückner's unique technology center enables comprehensive R&D for all kind of film stretching technologies under one roof. Feiplastic visitors will get latest information about several extensions such as inline coating, enhanced in-line measuring technology, the new second laboratory line and Brückner's "Innovation Test Centre" for verifying and validating new equipment developments on several testing devices.

At the joint Brückner Group booth, besides Brückner Maschinenbau visitors will also meet Kiefel, showing the latest developments for the packaging, automotive, medical & appliance industry.
