Long-standing company BITZER showcases its innovative products at Chillventa Rossija in Moscow’s Crocus Expo International Exhibition Center (pavilion 2, hall 7, stand A10). The international trade fair will be held for the fourth time and is Russia’s most important exhibition for refrigeration and air conditioning technology and heat pumps.
BITZER, the world’s largest independent manufacturer of refrigeration compressors, presents its latest innovations to the Russian market at Chillventa Rossija. Highlights include the NEW ECOLINE series, the next generation of reciprocating compressors. BITZER has managed to optimize the coefficient of performance (COP) by up to 12% across the entire series, particularly when it comes to applications with lower condensing temperatures. More than 100,000 semi-hermetic reciprocating compressors have already been sold since they were launched at the beginning of April 2013 – about 12,000 of those in the CIS countries. Due to its expanded range of applications, BITZER produces and sells the NEW ECOLINE series all over the world. That’s because, in addition to R134a, reciprocating compressors are also compatible with the refrigerants R404A, R407A, R407C, R407F, R507A, R290 and R1270. NEW ECOLINE is also compatible with the previous model, making it simple to integrate into existing systems. BITZER will be showcasing both NEW ECOLINE and NEW ECOLINE VARISPEED at Chillventa Rossija.
Thanks to the suction gas-cooled frequency inverter, the NEW ECOLINE VARISPEED reciprocating compressors can be infinitely adjusted for maximum efficiency at part-load, making it possible to reduce fluctuations in suction pressure and cycling rates and thus minimize energy costs. Using suction gas cooling ensures that electrical components remain at optimum temperature, rendering a fan superfluous.
ORBIT 6: scroll compressor for a whole host of applications
With cooling capacities ranging from 27 to 51 kilowatts at 50 hertz, ORBIT 6 scroll compressors offer a high degree of isentropic efficiency, are specially designed for use in air conditioning systems and heat pumps and, according to the manufacturer, are up to five percent more efficient than competitor models. The five models of the ORBIT series are impressive on account of how they support a whole host of applications for air conditioning systems with condensing temperatures of up to 68°C and low sound levels. The ORBIT 6 scroll compressors are available in five capacity steps: 10, 12, 13, 15 and 20 hp.
CSH: screw compressor with optimized oil management
At Chillventa Rossija, BITZER is also showcasing a cutaway model of the CSH series, which boasts exceptional part-load efficacy thanks to optimized oil management. The semi-hermetic, compact screw compressors of the CSH series were designed for use in air conditioning systems, heat pumps and individual short circuits, and they are particularly suitable for applications with higher condensing temperatures.
CSV: efficient screw compressor with integrated frequency inverter
The three screw compressors of the CSV series were designed for use in air conditioning systems, heat pump applications and industrial as well as process cooling. With an exceptionally high ESEER value of over five, the CSV series is unrivalled among air-cooled water chillers with dry expansion. One of the compressor’s unique strengths is its high energy efficiency. The frequency inverter is integrated into the compressor, carefully fine-tuned in the factory and configured for maximum efficiency. Exceptional combination: the CSV series can be combined with the CSH compact screw compressors in a single system, thus increasing flexibility in terms of full- and part-load performance.
OS series: compressors for industrial applications with natural refrigerants
With its OS series, BITZER offers compressors for the natural, carbon-neutral refrigerant ammonia (R717). The universal OSKA8591 screw compressors were designed for use in large-scale commercial and industrial applications and make it possible to combine tried-and-tested OS technology with the innovative characteristics of the CSH series. And that offers plenty of benefits, such as a high cooling capacity and, from the OS.85 model onwards, a three-scale or infinitely adjustable slide control. The performance range of the individual compressors enables up to ten displacement volumes, and parallel operation is possible with up to six compressors. The OS.85 series offers displacement volumes between 315 and 535 cubic meters per hour.
