Visitors to booth 280 at this year's Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) will be able to enjoy a free cup of SPECIAL.T - Nestlé's pioneering approach to tea - as well as seeing how the brand is using 3M's multi-touch technology to create an interactive experience for customers.
Designed by Swiss-based Atracsys (whose customers also include Gucci, Credit Suisse and Tissot) - the multi-touch system is being used by Nestlé marketers to give customers more information about SPECIAL.T and the 35 varieties available. Users can explore tea according to type, country of origin, flavour and moment of the day. The system then makes recommendations, and provides customers with a QR code which links to the specified tea on the SPECIAL.T website. Other features of the system include a variety of product micro-videos and - especially for ISE2014 - visitors can 'drag and drop' their tea selection to be served that tea by a hostess on the 3M booth. A bar code scanner is another option, enabling users to scan any box displayed on the multi-touch screen for further information.
