EPIC-9457 with Intel® Atom™ N270 Processor

(PresseBox) Quickborn, 01.03.2010, Texim Europe recently introduced a brand new EPIC form factor board, EPIC-9457 from AAEON Technology. This new product is designed to fit into diverse applications with demanding space limitations offering high performance.

EPIC-9457 accommodates the onboard Intel^® Atom™ N270 Processor 1.6GHz and features support for DDRII 400/533 and system memory, up to 2GB. Moreover, EPIC-9457 adopts Intel^® 945GSE + ICH7M.

EPIC-9457 deploys Intel^® 82574L chip and features two RJ-45 ports onboard that support up to 1GB Ethernet to display the transcendent performance of network connections. This new EPIC Express board configures an Intel^® 945GSE display chipset to support CRT/LCD simultaneous/dual view displays with resolution support of analog CRTs up to 2048x1536 and 24-bit dual channel LVDS LCD panels up to 1600x1200. In addition to the PC/104-Express expansion, EPIC-9457 also features one EIDE, two SATA, one Type II CompactFlash™ for storage plus six USB 2.0 ports, four COM ports and 8-bit Digital I/O for flexible expansion. The EPIC-9457 is an excellent choice for your vital applications such as industrial automation, transportation, test & measurement, and security applications.
