(PresseBox) Passau, 31.03.2009, Since the European Standard was established in Germany in 2006 smoke curtains must fully comply to this standard and smoke curtains must have the CE-label according DIN EN 12101-1.

Now Simon RWA Systeme has made the last step to be able putting this CE-label to the smoke curtain system Smoke PROtec.

After a successful test at the laboratory MPA Stuttgart in December 2007 a factory production control was established in 2008. Now in Feruary 2009 the certificate of conformity was issued by MPA Stuttgart and an external monitoring contract between Simon RWA Systeme and MPA Stuttgart was signed.

From now Simon RWA Systeme is able to put the CE-label at its smoke curtains type Smoke PROtec and supply smoke curtain all over Europe according to the European Stand
