Registration of biz-domains with special characters

Biz-Domains: Registration of name with e.g. German "Umlaute" like ä,ö and ü

(PresseBox) Cologne, 27.09.2008, Registration of biz-domains with special characters of Finnish, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithunian, Polish and Portuguese are possible.

ICANN accredited Registrar Secura has announced, that the company is realizing the registration of biz-domains with the special characters of Finnish, Hungarian, Latvian, Lithunian, Polish and Portuguese since January 16 th, 2008.

The registry of biz-domains has introduced new IDN languages in the production environment of biz-domains. Since January 16th IDNs in the following languages are possible:
-Finnish
-Hungarian
-Latvian
-Lithuanian
-Polish
-Portuguese

NeuStar currently offers IDN registrations at biz-domains in a total of 15 languages. .Biz IDNs have been available in Korean since August 2007; in Chinese and Japanese since March 2007; in Spanish, Danish, Icelandic, Norwegian, and Swedish since November 2006; and in German since 2004.

Customers can register biz-domains with special characters at ICANN accredited Registrars like Secura GmbH (www.domainregistry.de, www.com-domain.com)
