(PresseBox) Buchen, 19.11.2007, The new MINITEC range of cases by Odenwälder Kunststoffwerke Gehäuse-systeme GmbH (in short: OKW Gehäusesysteme GmbH) will convince you thanks to their minidimensions and maximum practicality. Whether on a lanyard, as a bracelet or with a wrist strap, the MINITEC will be your faithful companion and is always within easy reach of the user. They are so small and light that they fit perfectly in any trouser pocket, for example on a key ring, and are the perfect accessories for everyday use.

The MINITEC products are designed in three parts, and each consists of a top part, a bottom part as well as an intermediate ring. The latter not only accommodates the strap loops and eyelets for attaching the cases, but the TPE version also allows a pleasant touch sensation and at the same time serves as impact protection for the end device. Two location bases are fitted in the bottom part of the case as standard for the installation of any necessary boards and components. This range of small cases is available in 2 different basic versions (E and D), thus offering the necessary flexibility for individual applications. The MINITEC E is available in the dimensions 52 x 32 x 15 mm or 68 x 43 x 18 mm (L x W x H); the drop-shaped MINITEC D has the dimensions 51 x 32 x 13 / 70 x 44 x 16 mm. The recessed operating are offers optimal protection for membrane keyboards, operating and display elements – version E is alternatively available without recess. The possible applications are manifold, for example for remote control units in clinic and social areas as well as in households and in industry.

The standard colours are off-white (RAL 9002) and a lava colour (NCS S 7502- B) made of high-quality ABS (UL 94 HB) as well as a black infrared-permeable PMMA (plexiglass^®). The TPE intermediate ring is available in four colour variants: volcano (NCS 5502-G), orange (NCS S 1070-Y40R), green (NCS S 1070-G60Y), blue (NCS S 1060-B). The range of accessories is completed by a key ring with a diameter of 20.5 mm as well as different versions of high-quality necklaces/bracelets.
