Micronas Selects Lean Distribution LLC to Provide Customer-Optimized Distribution Logistics Solutions in North America

Lean will provide an array of customized supply chain management programs for Micronas customers in North America. Depending on Micronas customer specific product manufacturing requirements, Lean can directly provide a tailored range of product fulfilment services ranging from pure logistics to VMI services to complete supply chain management. In addition to differentiating Micronas products based on a comprehensive set of technical innovations. "Advanced supply chain management is increasingly becoming important to Micronas customers as the economy recovers and product availability requirements quickly change and grow", says Peter Zimmermann, Marketing Director of Micronas. According to Peter Zimmermann: "Having Lean's logistics capabilities will enable customers to maximize product availability while minimizing inventory costs".

About Lean

In contrast to traditional semiconductor distributors, Huntsville, Alabamabased Lean has developed a comprehensive set of requirements optimized managed services and product distribution programs ranging from 3PL logistics, order processing and forecast management to complete justintime fulfillment distribution. Semiconductor and electronics manufacturers select program features based on serving specific end customer requirements. Programs are implemented at a price and margin requirement typically significantly below traditional electronics and semiconductor distribution.

Lean utilizes an advanced network of nine ISOcertified product logistics facilities located across North America. Logistics facilities are geographically placed in key manufacturing centers across the US and Mexico in order to provide immediate customer access to semiconductor and electronics raw materials inventory on an as needed basis.
