(PresseBox) Erkrath, 21.07.2008, On August 8, 2008 MENTOR GmbH & Co. Präzisions-Bauteile KG celebrates its 88th company anniversary. The group of companies has been expanding continuously since its foundation in 1920 and is a 100% family-owned company today: with its present headquarters in Erkrath the MENTOR Group is represented by further subsidiaries in Germany, Tunisia, France and China. Moreover the group of companies is well represented internationally by 21 agencies.

For almost nine decades MENTOR has been setting important new directions in the technical development as well as in the realization of mechanical, electronic and optoelectronic components.

In accordance with the company philosophy "Innovations for the Future" MENTOR serves the most diverse demands of industry and the automotive field. With it the extensive standardized range comprises far more than 3,000 products. Aside from the extensive portfolio of standard products MENTOR also offers development services for the most diverse customer specific requirements.

Quality assurance is guaranteed by selected examination procedures. This is why all production sites and partner companies are certified and subject to regular audits. MENTOR is certified according to DIN ISO 9001 since 1995 and according to DIN EN ISO 14001 and ISO/TS 16949 since 2005.
