MaxPoint CeBIT 2009 - Follow Up

(PresseBox) Ahrensburg, 31.03.2009, CeBIT 2009 was ill-omened before it even began, everyone could see immediately that the exhibitor areas were significantly reduced and some halls were empty. But this fact had its good sides as well, while more visitors came to the remaining booths. Indeed everything panned out as expected, because MaxPoint could count in this year a growth of nearly 40% in interested new customers than the year before, although a large part of the foreign clientele seem to prefer Computex in Taiwan, where MaxPoint will also be represented in June.

MaxPoint's highlights on the booth were primarily the new Seasonic Gold power supplies, which were awarded with an 80 PLUS^® Gold certification; which means their efficiency is higher than 90%. This announcement was also the occasion for a press conference with the Director of the 80 PLUS^®-Organization, Mr. Geoff Wickes, on the MaxPoint booth. He spoke to the customers and media representatives about environmental issues, the importance of high efficiency levels and their consequences. Seasonic is a market leader with several innovative technologies, has numerous patents including the new 80+ gold certified power supplies integrated special features; in 2005 Seasonic was the first manufacturer, to receive the 80 PLUS^® certification for a power supply.

Very positive reaction were made by many customers regarding the three new Aplus Mini-ITX cases with their elegant aluminium front, built in card reader and extremely scratch-proof surface.

The often awarded Tagan power supplies with DC-DC technology were presented as well and will be launched soon in a new version with an attractive, illuminated name plate (applied for patent).

On the front side of MaxPoint booth, the new RackMax IPC-cases (19") were presented in different lengths and sizes, with many unique features for the industrial sector determined by their modular design. Along with those cases the corresponding Tagan redundant power supplies and Rackmax's elegant backplanes in aluminium chassis were shown and found a big interest among the visitors.

KeySonic keyboards have attracted much attention as well, which provide flexible application areas with their different materials and sizes as well as connections with and without cable.
