(PresseBox) Tuningen, 15.10.2008, These switchable Jumpers on 2,54mm pitch offer a surface mount alternative for conventional jumpers. With 2 pole Changeover and secured center-off position, they are available with a ganged pair of contacts option and hard gold plated wiping contacts.

They are fitted with an easily removable ganging knob to give sufficient surface area for automatic vacuum loading using a pick and place SMD assembly machine and available in various packaging options including tube or tape and reel for loading.

Reliable switching of the gold over nickel plated beryllium copper contacts is assured with the 4 point wiping contact design. The contacts never rub over any plastic part and every one is tested before despatch. The positive detent action ensures good shock resistance and the deep 'V' slots securely locate any operating probe.
