Scania signs three-year non-paint product contract with Glasurit

Truck manufacturer renews contract with Glasurit

(PresseBox) Münster, 05.06.2007, Scania Production Nederland and Glasurit have now signed a three-year contract on the supply of "non-paint products".In 2006, Scania had selected Glasurit as the suppler of non-paint products for a period of one year.Now this contract has been extended by another three years.

The Scania production in Zwolle not only purchases all its non-paint products from Glasurit, but has already been using Glasurit refinish products for over 15 years.The products used by the Scania plants in Zwolle (Netherlands), Södertälje (Sweden), Angers (France), and Sao Paulo (Brazil) include 68 Line for commercial vehicles and 55 Line and 90 Line waterborne basecoats.

Henk Mulder and William van Wijk, Buyer and Engineer Coordination Paint Surface Treatment at Scania Production Zwolle, cited the reasons for renewing Scania's contract with Glasurit.“We have been working with Glasurit for a long time and have a great deal of confidence in our cooperation.The way Glasurit works fits in with our company philosophy.Scania strives for constant improvement in areas such as safety, quality, delivery times, and costs.This is also important for Glasurit, and it’s the major reason for us to go with Glasurit again.”
