Livingston & Spirent Expand Rental Cooperation
Spirent TestCenter offering provides high accuracy cohesive solution for analysis of next generation network infrastructure

Test equipment sourcing specialist Livingston has announced that its ongoing collaboration with leading test solutions provider Spirent Communications has been further expanded. This means that Livingston is now in a position to offer the Spirent TestCenter unified test platform on a rental basis across the whole of the EMEA region.
Capable of supporting Ethernet technologies, including 40 and 100 Gigabit, Spirent TestCenter provides a fully scalable unified Layer 2-7, object-oriented architecture for the seamless plug-in of new network protocols and triple/quad-play services. It simplifies the test process with its ability to emulate real network scenarios, along with its intuitive graphic user interface (GUI), easy-to-use visual programming environment and large suite of multi-protocol wizards facilitate the building of comprehensive test cases, so that defects can be quickly isolated and dealt with. This raises productivity and lowers the risk of errors arising. The extensible automation interface permits the building and integrating of custom automated test tools. In addition, Spirent TestCenter's multi-user, multi-system client/server architecture allows engineering teams to engage in global collaborations.
