Screen's EQUIOS-Pre4m Jet520 Link is the latest advance that further establishes Trueflow's seamless connection with digital printing
EQUIOS-Pre4m Jet520 Link is part of a new workflow that offers the kind of integrated and coordinated management of multiple different devices that users need today. It brings the userfriendly, stressfree interface of the Trueflow SE CTP workflow and links it seamlessly with the Truepress Jet520, providing the same operation feel as CTP output.
The same job can now be sent to CTP or printondemand (POD) devices from the same environment using optimized output instructions. The Truepress Jet520 can take advantage of EQUIOS-Pre4m's powerful and intuitive imposition function for smooth, reliable linking to postpress equipment, giving a total endtoend solution. This solution will be ideal for book, journal and manual printers as it allows for the complicated 2 up, 3 up and 4 up impositions that enable printers to take full advantage of various inline finishing options that are now available.
The Truepress Jet520 is a continuousfeed, singlepass inkjet printer which meets the growing demand for highquality, highspeed, variable data digital printing. At speeds upto 1680 colour impressions, or 128 metres per minute, at a maximum printing width of 507mm, the Truepress Jet520 operates at a production level suitable for highvolume transactional and direct mail printing. The quality of the Truepress Jet520 means that it is capable of producing all the work that has traditionally been printed offset.
