PROVISIO launches SiteKiosk Credit Card Solution and Time Limiter

November 25, 2002 - Miami, - PROVISIO, a leading kiosk software provider, today announced their new credit card functionality and a Time Limiter for SiteKiosk. The SiteKiosk browser with new credit card functionality enables terminal companies, retailer, hotels and other players on the kiosk market to offer credit card payment for surfing the Internet or for other services offered by the terminals . "This unique solution has been created to meet our customer’s requirement for more payment options at Kiosk terminals," explained Mr. Niehus, President and joint owner of PROVISIO. The kiosk browser provides two options for inputting customer credit card information at kiosks: Manual input of credit card information into a payment dialog box and/or the use of a magnetic card reader. The SiteKiosk browser is connected to a payment processing gateway (Authorize.net) which allows for REAL TIME credit card processing.
After authorization of the credit card transaction the user can surf the internet. Mr. Niehus says: "Our goal is to continually add value to the operations of our customers in their quest to deliver enhanced functionality to their customers. The integration of a credit card solution is yet another step forward for SiteKiosk software after the release of SiteKiosk 5.0." Another new feature announced by PROVISIO is a Time Limiter which has been integrated into the SiteKiosk browser. The Time Limiter allows to limit surf time at the PC. A special hardware is not required. After a predefined time, the surf session is automatically closed and a message is shown to the user. "It is very exciting to be involved in such a fast moving market. Our company has shown that we are able to meet the needs of our customers in the US and Europe," comments Heinz Horstmann, Sales Manager of PROVISIO LLC, Miami - USA.
