Plasticum launches an oval valve closure with double TE

Plasticum has extended its valve closure range with a new oval closure that is fitted with two tamper evident functions. This closure has been designed for Food and Personal Care applications. It is offered in two neck sizes: snap-on 25 mm and snap-on 27 mm. Also other features distinguish this closure from alternatives in the market.
Unique are the two tamper evident (TE) functions. The first one is clearly visible at the front. This anti-tamper strip is broken automatically when the consumer opens the lid for the first time. The second one is a breaking rim at the inner backside that cracks the closure wall when the closure is separated from the bottle. This way the consumer is fully assured of first use, even without the often used security label.
The MaxiDose Oval TE has a pretentious and functional design. The lid can be opened and closed conveniently with one hand thanks to the practical butterfly hinge. The lid covers the complete top of the closure and can therefore be used for engraving to customise the closure with a logo or other design. Top-down use of the bottle is also feasible. Two different neck sizes are offered: snap-on 25 mm and snap-on 27 mm. Customers can choose between a matt and gloss surface finish.
The closure can be delivered with and without valve. The valve version includes Plasticum's patented MaxiDose technology. This ensures a clean and controlled dispensing thanks to the self-closing silicon valve solution. Non-valve orifices are offered in a 6 mm and 10 mm opening. Like all other Plasticum closures, the MaxiDose Oval TE is produced in the most economic way, saving material and honouring the environment.
Several renowned players in the Food industry, including environmentally conscious retailers, adopted this closure for their honey and syrup. The first applications are already available in the German market and more will follow, also in other European countries. These closures are the right solution for many different bottle geometries and viscosities.
