SLC trolleys Convincing transport solution for confined spaces

The concept of moving goods efficiently, reliably and on schedule was implemented in the intralogistics field in the form of the so-called Milk Run (originally the route of the milkman who replaced empty bottles with full ones).The Milk Run consists of an innovative trailer combination comprising LKE transport equipment (Euro Liner, platform trolley, Cargo Liner, SLC Euro Trolley) led by a tugger train which moves silently and smoothly from one station to the next in the same time sequences to ensure each assembly stand is kept constantly supplied with sufficient material. In today's production plants, Milk Run systems have become an indispensable solution to providing an efficient flow of material between storage facilities and the production lines and also to generating considerable costs savings compared with the conventional means of supply using forklifts. The system likewise ensures safe material handling and offers the benefits of a synchronized process between material requirements planning and material consumption.
The SLC trolley / order picker SE3 ensures perfect material flow in picking operations where the SLC trolley can be deployed "solo" (using the hand brake) or as part of a towing train. The LKE virtual coupling and drawbar system provide excellent directional stability - even in bends - and permits high-quality transportation in confined spaces.
The SLC trolley is a stainless steel construction, the running gear comprises vulcanized, non-marking elastic, solid rubber tyres with dual ball bearings in the live ring and ball bearing in the wheel hub. Standard features are two swivel castors with an integrated central locking system and two fixed castors. The intermediate floors are inclined and adjustable to simplify the removal and handling of LKT boxes. Safety runners for forklift loading prevent the load from slipping sideways off the fork. The SLC trolley is braked using a hand brake which is fixed to the side of the trolley Maximum load carrying capacity is 500 kg, i.e. 100 kg per intermediate floor.
