2010 International Supercomputing Conference Concludes Most Successful Event Ever
"When I started this meeting as a small workshop in Mannheim back in 1986, I really had no idea that it would become such an important international meeting place for ideas and innovation," said ISC General Chair Prof. Hans Meuer. "Just five or six years ago we were hoping to someday attract 500 attendees, and now we are at almost 2,000. Best of all, the increase in attendance has also brought an increase in the energy and enthusiasm of the program."
For those who were unable to attend ISC'10, daily video blogs were created featuring two computer scientists - John Shalf from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory and Heike Jagode from the University of Tennessee. Watch their daily observations and conversations.
