Honeywell's 24th EMEA Users Group Conference: 'Sustain.Ability'

‘Sustain.Ability’ is the theme of the 2012 Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) Users’ Group Conference, which this year will explore a series of key themes that are shaping the modern process industry. Delegates will debate a variety of topical industry issues and challenges including cyber security, universal I/O, services and virtualisation.
Attracting hundreds of automation users and industry experts, the event will provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology, one-to-one interaction with product experts, and group discussion with other Honeywell users. The EMEA Users Group conference provides invaluable education and insight that can positively impact both businesses and employees.
As always, the conference agenda is driven by customer input through the EMEA Users Group Steering Committee. The Steering Committee includes representatives from major oil, gas and petrochemical organisations including Total, Shell, BP, Repsol, SABIC and LyondellBasell. This year’s conference will be hosted by Steering Committee Chairman, Roberto Simeone of Saras.
Throughout the three day conference, Honeywell customers will share insights and best practices into how greater safety, reliability, efficiency and sustainability can be achieved across vertical process industries including chemicals, oil & gas, refining, metals, mining & minerals and pharmaceutical, through the use of innovative process control solutions.
Parallel conferences organised by Honeywell, and running at the same venue, include the Terminal Automation Solutions Conference, Honeywell Enraf Global Distributor and Channel Partners Conference and Field Products Channel Partner Conference.
The winner of the 2012 Honeywell student challenge to create a process design aimed at solving a critical plant business issue using Honeywell UniSim® Design Suite will be announced and will be showcasing their winning idea at the conference.
