Heiler Software presents new MDM platform for multichannel commerce
The platform incorporates the transfer, the management, as well as the distribution of master data. "Successful multichannel trade and e-commerce require perfect product data. With our new suite, we are supporting our customers' multichannel strategies," says CEO and company founder Rolf J. Heiler.
That's why the new version 5.2 stands for integrated multichannel commerce. The new "Channel Quality Assurance" checks the data quality for each distribution channel individually. Unwanted data types in the different distribution channels and any negative effects these might entail will be a thing of the past in most cases. "Also, it will now be even easier to replicate changes made to the central data inventories in third-party systems. This will ensure that product data is kept up to date, and that shop and ERP systems will be fully synchronized," states Heiko Rumpl, Head of Product Management at Heiler.
These enhancements also include support for the new Channel Adapter for IBM WebSphere Commerce. This standard interface provides seamless integration of product details into the IBM e-shop solution.
The new product paradigm willgive users the flexibility to decide which details are arranged at which level between article and product. "We are thereby fulfilling the requirements of greatly diverse sectors and customers for flexible data modeling and supporting the latest distribution strategies," says Heiko Rumpl.
The possibility of adapting the layout of forms and tables to the maintenance processes ensures better support for the different roles in data management. In addition, version 5.2 provides numerous innovations for straightforward and secure data import as well as support for Windows 7.
