50 trailers invite you

"Welcome IAA" - 50 Krone trailers formed this invitation text before setting out in a spectacular convoy to Hanover which is 220 km away. There the IAA Commercial Vehicles show will begin on the 18th of September and over 1900 exhibitors from 46 countries will present innovations in and around the field of commercial vehicles. The Krone campaign was supported by MAN Rental / EURO-Leasing GmbH and LTS Überführungs GmbH which provided the appropriate number of tractor units and drivers.
"This campaign is a symbol which shows that the sector of commercial vehicles is setting out to the IAA together. Enormous effort is necessary before the trailer can transport our daily goods. Manufacturers of trailers and trucks depend on numerous suppliers and when the vehicle is ready it still needs a driver who can move it to its destination. All of this we want to symbolize with the convoy; transportation is only possible when it is done together," says Dr. Frank Albers, Head of Sales National and Marketing.
The eye-catching trailer convoy received a lot of attention already after the first few kilometers on the German autobahn as the united vehicles are at the same time promotional messenger for the project "Der Rote Ritter" ("The Red Knight"). "Der Rote Ritter" is a project of the non-profit association "Kinder-Unfallhilfe" (en: "First Aid for Children"). With the prevention award "Der Rote Ritter" the association wants to promote outstanding ideas which ensure the safety of children in road traffic.
"Our association has two important tasks: The support for children and teenagers after a traffic accident and the promotion of measures to prevent accidents," says association chairman Adalbert Wandt who expressed his thanks for their great support on behalf of the association.
The association "Kinder-Unfallhilfe" will benefit for a long time from the original public relations on the road. The buyers of the 50 trailers are obliged to advertise for the project "Der Rote Ritter" after the IAA Commercial Vehicles for at least two years.
